His journey began on South African rugby fields, where a sports-driven teenager encountered the living God at a summer camp. At the age of 15, everything changed. He traded his athletic ambitions for a guitar and pursued theological training in Australia, later helping to plant a church in Scotland. It was here that he discovered the unifying power of worship within communities.
Now based in California, Zak creates music that spans continents. From Southern Africa to Europe, Australia to America, his songs serve one purpose: to create space for authentic encounters with God.
